Construction Posts: Music Video Production

Making 'Jaywalk':

Pre-production:
With the research, location shots, permissions, shot list and story board in the bag, all that was left was packing the props and equipment.

Having travelled to London with the dolly, a week prior to our actual filming date to take some location shots which we had thought could potentially feature in the video, we decided to try to avoid taking the dolly down to Central London again knowing that it's not the most convenient piece of equipment to carry on a 6:00pm train.
We limited the majority of props and heavier equipment to one scene: the exterior house scene which allowed me to leave items that would be unnecessary later in the day at my friend's house:

Prodution:
No slack was cut, even on the 7 degree Celsius morning, with shots filmed over..

...and over...
...and over...

All, may I add, narrated by my friend's keen-ex-'film-maker'-neighbour across the street, teasing about the quality of our zero budget equipment.
